Before starting the process, we heard countless stories from other homeowners about what a nightmare the building process is. We ended up being very pleased that we chose you. Jameson Pools did an excellent job of designing and installing our beautiful swimming pool. We’re particularly pleased with the way the pool complements the view and the overall backyard experience. The firepits and water features are unique and quite dramatic. The job site was well maintained, the schedule went very well, and we’re very pleased with the final result. We’d be happy to use Jameson Pools the next time we build a custom pool.”

Before deciding on a contractor for our new home, we talked with a number of different builders who worked extensively in Benders Landing, all of them very qualified and professional. But with Jameson Homes, we immediately felt a sense of compatibility and confidence. They helped us from pre-design (recommending a very talented architectural designer in Joe Feringo) and budgeting, all the way to interior decoration.

Jim Nickel is a soft-spoken, creative craftsman. His partner, Brent Kaz, is an energetic facilitator with a can-do attitude and a lot of know-how. Kristi Nickel is a well-organized budget master who also possesses a great eye for interior design. Together, they make a great team.

Home construction is one of the most stressful experiences a couple can put themselves through, especially if you are small business owners like us and have a thousand other priorities to manage. But throughout the entire process, Jameson helped keep the typical home-building chaos under control.

We have built more than a few homes in our lives. Without a doubt, we have been happier with our Benders Landing home than any other we have built. The experience of taking it from concept to finished home with Jim, Brent and Kristi contributed a great deal to our satisfaction with the whole process.

We waited until we retired to start building our dream home. Since we had never been involved in the building process in other homes, we were somewhat anxious about making the right decision on a builder. We put out our bid package to three builders. While all were competent builders, we selected Jameson Custom Homes primarily because we felt the relationship overall would be the best of the three. We were not disappointed. Both Jim and Brent are honest and straightforward, providing us with alternatives and the pros and cons of each when decisions were to be made.

The building process went smoothly and working with Brent as our project manager was a pleasant experience. My wife and I were very nervous about building our own home. We had heard and read about several horror stories, but the experience with Jameson Custom homes was entirely different.

We met Kristi, Jim, and Brent at the Benders landing showcase of homes in April 2007. I had the opportunity to follow their showcase home (as well as others) through the building process, because I live near by. The finished product was magnificent, but even more impressive was how well the various stages were carried out.

We interviewed several builders (five) and we decided to go with Jameson not only because they had built a great showcase home, but because of their style. They did not restrict our choices, they communicated potential problems with our plan and also offered suggestions as to how to make our home look better.

Anybody who told you the construction process is smooth sailing probably does not know what they are talking about. What makes it easier to deal with is communication, honesty and meeting of deadlines. This is exactly what we found with Jameson homes. All phone calls and email messages were returned promptly and we could see how every penny of our budget was being spent. The craftsmanship of the various stages was excellent…as we had expected.

After it was all done, we actually felt we could do this again. Most people will say never again. And by the way….they build great pools too.”
